Another war,
With a new conflict
To gain a pour
Of blood by afflict
Tears somehow settled inside,
Beginning to peep out of the peepers
Then spurting out with the purity of innocence
And tracing those cheeks
Which were blooming a moment ago.
The imagination of that scene frightens.
Their eyes confronting the gun,
Gazing at the offender’s fingers
slightly pressing the trigger of death;
and closing their eyes
which were on the blackboard a moment ago.
The imagination of that scene frightens.
Their brains in a big puzzlement,
thinking of the matter
that brought a smug smile on their face;
Being the children of soldiers who give mirth to the earth
had sentenced to their death.
The heart kept on satisfying the mind
Which was watering its brain crops a moment ago.
The imagination of that scene frightens.
Those unheard 132 voices
come from Peshawar
and their souls whisper every second:-
With a golden thread called love we’ll bind,
the whole world’s hearts to accompany;
our resolution will remain to be kind
We’d spread love, not silence in cacophony.
Inequality will be kicked out of the mind
and you’ll see the result of epiphany;
Instead of war and conflict we’d find,
The world peacefully living in harmony.
