A terza rima consists of stanzas of three lines (or tercets) usually in iambic pentameter. It follows an interlocking rhyming scheme, or chain rhyme. This is where the middle of each stanza rhymes with the first and last line of the following stanza (ABA, BCB, CDC) and ends with a rhyming couplet. There are 11 syllables in each line…
Beneath which foot will my life descry an end?
Or perchance again, like destiny plays
A flowing gust of air will let me defend.
The world below me, hanging above I gaze
I gaze at the place I’ve never been earlier
Yet time will drop me with the passing of days.
From my fading color, at all times I hear
I hear, I see yellow defeating greenness,
Standing before death, I brush away my fear
I think of beauty of scarlet sunsets,
Its farewell so wondrous, with promises to keep,
To return again, for the lusty carpets!
I shall never snatch the right of humans to weep,
for a mere autumn leaf can just die in gaiety,
And I shall meet my roots when I fall asleep!
My lord, roots, I didn’t demand eternity,
I believe in you and your affinity!
Hhhhuhhhh… 😢😢 Don’t know what to say about ur poems, just that I’m a die-heart-fan of you and them… God Bless.
