Those times didn’t go… (Limerick #4)

 

I know I’ve broken the style of limerick into pieces, and I apologise for that! I just like the format of this style of poetry, but you see, I don’t have a good sense of humour. So all my limericks fail to provide that sort of stuff…

 

There was a freshness in every day,

Less to listen, and lots to say,

big bubbly eyes,

sweet stubborn cries,

Those times didn’t go, they faded away!

  1. A fat numbered age is not required to miss one’s childhood. Few experiences and here we become wiser, only to realize the worth of what can never be back again – ‘Innocent Childhood’.
