You watch your step,
Every time you walk.
How it leaves the ground,
And then again,
Elsewhere it lands.
Steadily, you proceed,
And meanwhile you think,
Where these steps may lead to,
Yet you know, you’re prepared to drown,
In the bottomless seas.
You watch your step,
Every time you walk,
For you should die,
But the claps shouldn’t.
You watch your step,
And not the people,
Yet unknowingly, in your mind, you do.
For them you advance,
And for them you stop.
A few sparkling looks,
And there you live!
But one bitter stare,
And in a moment, all footprints,
You decide to wipe out.
You watch your step,
Every time you walk,
For you’re being watched
Under human eye surveillance.
Woah! Amazingly beautiful, this one is.
