As you exit my life.

When you entered my world with your light steps,

More of my instincts were unaware,

But somewhere at the back of my mind,

I knew you were around

I knew you were closer.

That pleasure of your presence was ordinary,

Enlightening self with your sunshine was a habit,

It feels like I wasn’t grateful to the air,

Everytime I breathed

Everytime I lived.

Today, your smile faded into my memory,

And your sunshine turned into history,

Today the sorrow of losing you grew greater,

Greater than the glee of having you,

Greater than the satisfaction of having me.

As you left, i know, I said in vain,

That your face, one day, I’ll see again.

  1. Oh my god. This..this is just wow!
I’m so emotional, right now! Specially, the lines, “Today, your smile faded into my memory,
And your sunshine turned into history…”
THIS IS SO PERFECT!! You literally just said exactly, what needed to be said and it made my heart explode. (😂😅)
We’re gonna miss her so much. 😭😭❤
