Jargon of Cynics

Every time a poem is written, a jargon is roared out.

On the relentless rocks of destiny

that shiver every now and then,

that bow before the chasing time;

A cynic dares to step today,

to free his bottled up voices.

With eyes at the skies, deeply he breathes

and roars out the jargon of the cynics

which all conceive, yet a few perceive,

and feel; the ones destined to.

It seems that he writes a crestfallen verse

that finds out its way through the crowds.

  1. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea to conceive as well as perceive, especially a poem. And sadly, I am one of them.
Though most of the times, I do understand poems, but sometimes I do not.
This poem, I understood and thus, commenting too. 😉

      1. 😀 😀
It must be. Though one can surely learn an art, if it really interests him. 🙂
I, being more of a story person, unlike Apeksha, never really tried to get along with poems. Even then I love her writings. 😀

    2. Haha! 😀
I can very well understand what you’re trying to say. Even I’m not able to get the real idea of a poem at times. But you know, as I’m reading and reading, the number of such situations, is without a doubt, decreasing. Thank you so much for commenting ❤ I needn't attempt to express my inexpressible gratitude every time you're here. Do I?! 😉
