The faintness felt in the musical notes,
the revival ‘read’ in the poetic quotes,
the ignition inked on dark whiteness,
and passion persisted in visible blindness;
the phantom figured in dense solitude
the tinge touched in a soul’s pulchritude,
the sand stilled in the hourglass,
And the isles eyed amid the masses
Is it all victimizing me to the epidemic,
or vaccinating me to some fortunate writ?

*Yeah, Valentine’s day special stuff!*
Wonderful Apeksha! You’ve recovered now?
Here’s a haiku:
sublime poetry
in lyrics of a sad song
speaking to my soul
prompted by listening to our singer-songwriter in our writers’ club.
