Awards & Tags (Acceptance post)

Hello there! Today finally I’ve got some time to accept the awards and tags for which I’d been nominated long back. Thank you so much Your average peahead for the Blue sky tag, petrel41 for Real neat blog award and Minty Freshie for the Liebster Award. I love y’all!! ❤ I apologise for not nominating further and breaking the chain.

Would you consider yourself an optimist or a pessimist?

Something that lies exactly between the both!

Do you wear glasses?

Fruit or vegetables?

What is your all time favourite movie?

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara!

Can you describe the country where you live in 3 words?

Kludgily incredible india!

I was actually looking for a translation of the word jugaadu!

What is your one goal in life?

Living and dying in the shades of literature.

Do you have a favourite sport?

Not really. But since there’s no option, so Badminton!

Have you ever broken a bone, and if so which one?

No. I’m a lazy person who hardly moves here and there.

Do you have a favourite celebrity?

Yes. My favorite singer Atif Aslam. (Of you know him, Pakistani princess!)

Do you have any pets (if you don’t what pet would you like to have)?

No I don’t have any pets. I’ll have a cute little bird whose maintenance is not difficult, at least.

When was the last time you laughed?

Today. Around 7 hours back from now.

Where do most visits to your blog come from?

What is your favourite sport?

Badminton (The girlie sport ha!)

What has been a special moment for you so far in 2017?

Yet to come. Be patient, It’s just the month of May!

What is your favourite quote?

There are so many! One that comes to my mind is the David Hume’s –

“For my part, when I enter most intimately into what I call myself, I always stumble on some particular perception or other, of heat or cold, light or shade, love or hatred, pain or pleasure. I never can catch myself at any time without a perception, and never can observe any thing but the perception…. If any one, upon serious and unprejudic’d reflection thinks he has a different notion of himself, I must confess I can reason no longer with him. All I can allow him is, that he may be in the right as well as I, and that we are essentially different in this particular. He may, perhaps, perceive something simple and continu’d, which he calls himself; tho’ I am certain there is no such principle in me.”

What was your favourite class when still at school?

Tenth, because it has just started!!!

Anything you had wished to have learned earlier?

I wish I could’ve continued with my music lessons.

What musical instrument have you tried to play?

Harmonium, tanpura, tabla.

(3) The Blue Sky tag!

What’s your favorite cookie?

Any will do, after all you’re not going to jump out of the screen and offer me a few!

Can you do a headstand? (If yes, Woooooooah!)

No, sorry. (Noooooooah!)

How good are you at cooking? Do you like it?

Well aware of the fact that my mom’s going to read this, piteously I need to admit that I’m bad at it. In fact, I’m lazy.

What’s one book you could read every year and never get tired of?

Give me any of Sartre’s, Russell’s or Hegel’s stuff.

Who’s the one person you’d call at 4 am, telling them you need a burger asap?

Nobody. Instead the one whom I’ll call will arrange a car to the nearest lunatic asylum before doing anything else. (Isn’t that sad?)

What made you start blogging?

Motivation by my brother. This blog’s to his name!

Have you achieved any of the goals your younger self set?

Yes, I’m working on it. Shh! I’ll tell you in a few days.

What’s the first place that pops in your head if I said I’d fund your trip to wherever that is? And why?

A got an image of a sea beach. Now fund my trip accordingly.

On a scale of one to ten, how temperamental are you? If you think it’s bad, and want to simmer down, how do you plan on doing that?

7. I’ll paint, sing, write and read for the temporary relief!

What’s something you’d like to tell someone but can’t right now?

A few close peeps, about what they mean to me.

Give me one good word to describe yourself. (Make it reaaaaally good.)

It was a fun to answer all the question, thanks once again guys, for this award 🙂 Your motivation is what keeps me going.

  1. Hello there I am so happy I found your blog, I really found you by accident, while I was browsing on Askjeeve for something else, Regardless I am here now and would just like to say many thanks for a fantastic post and a all round thrilling blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to browse it all at the moment but I have bookmarked it and also added in your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read a lot more, Please do keep up the fantastic work.

  2. This was interesting to read. Being an Indian, I can tell you there’s no perfect translation of Jugaad. I mean the sure you can say “adjust” or you can call it a “hack”, but then Jugaad in India is a whole new level of life hacks 😝

      1. Oh and had to say, Thank you ! Now I have the word “kludge” in my vocabulary. But it still doesn’t have the same emotion as jugaad 😝 It’s nice to connect to you too 😄❤
